Thank you so much to Stephanie Barba Mendoza and team for asking us to take part in the inaugural WOW!House Showhouse at the Design Centre at Chelsea Harbour.

Stephanie gave us a wonderful concept to consider when we creating this one off fireplace piece for WOW!House.

Coming up with the idea of a muse, it enabled the studio to introduce a sense of theatrics to the design. Stephanie has long been inspired by Freddie Mercury - the clothes, energy and unbounding uniqueness — and she found herself constantly thinking of his 'Killer Queen' from the 1974 Queen hit. To her the 'Killer Queen' is a strong, independent woman who travels the world, has broad interests and a rich life.
